That's right, a tooth. Michelle noticed Sheldon's first tooth on October 12. Ever since we've been trying to sneak a peak. Every time we open his mouth he sticks his tongue out. And it's funny how excited we are for this jagged little pearl to come in to our life.
As of October 18 Sheldon is finished with the cranial cap. His head shape has shown the progress we had hoped for, and we are so glad we took that step. An interesting note: Sheldon's head asymmetry improved from 24mm (out of round) to 8mm. His head isn't perfect, but his crazy red hair is very forgiving. Of course we're back to people stopping me at the grocery store to tell me he's so adorable. Sometimes I fear for Sheldon and my safety. kidding.
His newest friend, Stephanie is still playing hard to get. I'm sure Sheldon will eventually win her over with his charm. Don't forget, he was born on Valentine's Day.
Sheldon's off to have playtime starting October 24, when I return to work. It's a huge step for both of us. Wish us luck.
Congrats Sheldon and Pat, too! Good luck with the new job, Pat, and with Sheldon's new adventure. He's so lucky he got to have you full time for 8 months! Thinking of you guys and hoping for a great transition.
ReplyDeleteChecking in after a long time away... what great photos and what a lot of fun growing Sheldon has been doing! Hoping the jobs are going well and the new daycare is going well for Sheldon.
